Do Good Better Not-For-Profits
Do Good Better, is a new way of looking at the world. It is based on the premise that we all want to do good, but sometimes struggle with how to best articulate it. Sometimes we can be so moved by a world event or personal encounter that we feel compelled to act. Finding the right outlet and articulating a valued and meaningful response can be difficult…that is where we step in.
Doing good is no longer the sole identifying feature of the charitable sector. Public and private sector organisations also have a legal and ethical role in improving our communities. More than that, our notion of what is and is not charitable is also changing. How we navigate all the tensions, contradictions and opportunities within our desire to ‘Do Good Better’ is what we are all about…
We bring together the best of the public, private and charitable sector to show how meaningful engagement can lead to lasting and tangible change.
Our approach and our projects are unique. We don’t just jump on popular bandwagons, but use critical theory, public policy, the law, ethics and an inclusive framework to help develop programmes of work that benefit those most in need and work to make our communities happier, healthier and safer.
We pride ourselves on being able to take risks and initiate new ways of thinking and delivering. We are not afraid to pilot new forms of experimental service delivery and design. We are not worried about taking risks on individuals and organisations that others won’t.
Do Good Better is a community of practice. We provide information, training and funding to organisations wanting to drive real change. We prefer working with the small and untested.
Do you need help Articulating your desire, developing an action plan, forming a partnership, understanding and setting yourself up to delivery and secure funding, we will do that for you.
